About this print:
A car navigates a red dirt road deep in Nangchen County, Tibet. Nangchen is one of the five original kingdoms of eastern Tibet. A little visited county where the magic and mystery of old Tibet still lingers.
About the artist:
Nicholas Holt is a photographer with a focus on lesser-trodden parts of the world – holes in the map where an older, slower world still exists. His work has a strong narrative and graphic elements – reflecting his background as a commercial art director.
His work has been published in SUITCASE magazine and exhibited at The Rencontres d’Arles Photography Festival, where he was an OpenWalls Arles 2020 Winner.
